For the past 20 years, Walter is most know for his work as Artistic Director of the New York Improv Theater performing 1000s of interactive musical comedy shows live from Times Square NYC and touring nationwide. But for 30+ years Walter also has been seen internationally singing opera, acting, singing and dancing musicals (national tours, regional, off-broadway, festivals) and even singing in Churches, and other love music outlets. Favorite roles include Harold Hill (Music Man), Karl Franz (Student Prince), Rodolfo (La Boheme), Frederic (Pirates of Penzance), Henry VIII (Man for all Seasons) and so many more in shows like Brigadoon, Carousel, Boys from Syracuse, Chess, Iolanthe, Cosi Fan Tutti, Where’s Charlie, etc.
On the Small Screen
While Walter has acted in a few indy films no one has heard of, beyond a few 48-hour film festival type works, none have hit the big screen. Walter might be most recognizable as Dr. OZ’s Fat Pants, a massive campaign that played every channel back in 2013. Of all the work he has done, by far that got the most “WAS THAT YOU” DMs. Walter took his SAG card after filming the 2008 Culligan Water commercial. TV credits include co-star roles on Blacklist (NBC), Billions (Showtime), Blue Bloods (CBS), Royal Pains (USA), Lilyhammer (Netflix) and Naked Brothers Band (NICK). Also a few sketch comedy bits on PAUSE with Sam Jay (HBO), Late Night with David Letterman (CBS, 9 episodes), and Stankervision (MTV). Additional you may have seen him on countless other commercials, industrials and reality TV programs the past 20 years.
