Mostly known for his Improv, Walt Frasier made his comic and TV debute via Sketch Comedy writing, performance and directing.
The casting director at MTV plucked Walter out of a Monday night show in Times Square. The next morning he was being chased by urban cowboys on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
Soon after, the CDs at Late Night with David Letterman called. Four hours later Walter was walking a horse across stage. One week later, as Lance Armstrong, rode a bike on the same pattern, a bit he would repeat. Nine eps in total.
Producer friend, Ken Keller, saw Walter on Letterman and soon had him on set at NICK’S Naked Brother’s Band. As a side project, Walter head up the shows kid friendly version of The Aristocrats, telling a fart joke along with George Lopez and the cast.
WE used Walter’s sketch and Improv skills to loven up HAOR TRAUMA, a reality show about a NYC Hair Stylist to the stars
TruTV’s Friends of the People had Walter as Russian Cabbie for TUBER, the Tinder / Uber mash up app commercial.
Most recently, Walter filmed an episode of Pause with Sam Jay. The bitbhas yet to air, possible too much even for HBO censors?
Walter jas written, performed and directed dozens of live and video sketches as part of EIGHT IS NEVER ENOUGH. As a live show, the troupe has been exclusively Improv Comedy since 2006. But before that, the troupe produced many sketch comedy shows, with a musical and political flair. Since 2006, the troupe continued with dozens of videos on YOUTUBE. As early as 2003, 8 Improv was filmed four live sketch shows via SOHO’s Pseudo.com studios.
