Have Fun, Be Creative but don’t over think it. Less is more. Share these links with your guests. Everyday can be Halloween thanks to online costume stores. HOT TIP: Check out the pictures for ideas then check the back of your closet. You might find something you can accessorize – a dress, a vest, etc. Also, make a trip to your local thrift shops and vintage stores. Theater folk find amazing hidden gems there.

    PROLOGUE

Upon arrival, every guest (up to 40, ask about options for larger parties up to 300+) gets a special invitation. This invitation is addressed to a particular character in our story. When they open up the invite, they find their character’s story. Each script is written in first person. It is designed for easy use. Guests can literally read off the card if they are not feeling creative this evening. They also have a set of three clues about other guest’s motivations, secrets and more.

    ACT I: The Murder

Our professional detective leads the fun. (PICTURED: That’s me, Walt Frasier, at a Westchester, NY Mansion, January 2026 Birthday Party)

After a brief explanation on how to play the game, the murder is announced. We learn the name of the victim, where the murder took place and the type of weapon involved.

    ACT II: On The Case

Then Every character is set loose. For smaller events, 40 or less guests, EVERYONE is simultaneously suspect and Detective, interrogating each other, collecting story and clues.

    ACT III: The Murder Board

Trust no one, as you weigh all the evidence and solve the case. Keep an open mind, stick to the facts and the job is easy. Let your self be swayed by Red Herring and someone might just get away with MURDER!

    ACT IV: The Final Solutions

The detective will collect answer sheets and read off a few wrong answers before announcing the final solution.

  • DESIGNER LABEL RAP, Video from 15 years ago, 18k views, and a story…

    Throw back to 15 years ago… a little context….

One of the many days jobs I had prior to Quitting My Day Jobs was barking for a “sample sale”

I stood at the corner of Houston & Broadway yelling designer names all day. I would get bored and start singing, rapping and dancing.

Celebrities walked by daily. Lauren Gutton may have been my biggest fan. She always smiled when she passed. Kevin Bacon would try not to be noticed.Mike Myers looked like Beaver Clever Ina baseball cap.

I was discovered by Ken & Caron Keller who gave me one of my first TV jobs. They had a studio upstairs from Pottery Barn. The “Designer Warehouse” was on the 2nd floor.  I was introduced to the cast of the Naked Brother’s Band. At first, Nat & Alex Wolff joind is at the Improv. ( THE IMPROV, where we were doing 4-6 sold out shows every week in 2005).

In 2006 I was invited to play myself in an episode where Nat does stand up comedy.  THE JOKE, an early internet video, before YouTube was really a thing, starring George Lopez, was a kid friendly send up of The Aristcats. The whole cast told a FART JOKE 😆 💩

We filmed this 15 years ago at the Laugh Factory, which became the Times Square Comedy Club & Arts Center a few days later. But we closed the curtain to make it feel more like a dance club.

#iykyk that location, currently Smash Burger, 669 8th Ave at 42nd Street was the largest adult entertainment complex prior to 2004. NYers might remember Circus, Circus AKA Showworld.  It was the last “monument” to the old Times Square of the 1970s & 1980s when 8th Ave and 42nd street was littered with crime, prostitution, 3 card monty tables, drugs, and xxx shops.
